RoyBEASLEYDied peacefully in Morpeth on 29th January 2023 aged 92 years. Beloved and devoted husband of his late wife Pam, brother of Neil, dearest father of David, Martin and Kim. Fondest father-in-law to Janey, Lesley and Steve and much loved grandad and great-grandad to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Thanksgiving Service will take place at St Aidan's Church, Shields Road Morpeth on Tuesday 14th February at 10.30am followed by interment at Fairmoor Cemetery. Family flowers only please. All donations will be gratefully received and can be sent to Alzheimer's Society c/o J W Peters Funeral Directors 35a Oldgate Morpeth NE61 1QF All are welcome afterwards at the Sun Inn, High Church, Morpeth.

I was so sorry to hear that Roy has passed away.
He was a true gentleman, and gave me a lot of guidance during some tough years.
Singing with him in Northern Opera gave me so many happy memories. May he RIP

I only found this out by chance, I remember Roy when I was living back in Morpeth in 1977-79. We then caught up again, when he and Pam sang in Melbourne, Australia. We then caught up for the last time when I visited Morpeth in 1992. A very gentle and genuine person.

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Roy. He auditioned me when I joined Northern Opera and it changed my life. A dear man who loved his music and made a difference. RIP
