RoyBEATONof Ashington Passed away peacefully in Ivelhurst Nursing Home on the 28th October 2021, aged 80 years. A beloved husband to Janet, a much loved dad to Steve, Wendy and Kevin. Thank you to all the staff at Ivelhurst Nursing Home for their care and attention. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday 17th November 2021, 11.20am at Yeovil Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Roy for Parkinsons UK may be sent c/o A.J. Wakely & Sons, 33 Sparrow Road, Yeovil. Thank you Dad for everything and all the great times we had together at the races, at home larking about playing video games and cards and for all the brilliant times when the whole family were together.
So proud how you battled against your illness for so long, you fought it like Lennox Lewis! 😀
I am so lucky that i could call you Dad.
I will miss you every day and I will remember you every single day.
Rest easy old fella!
