I am really sorry to hear that Carol has passed away. She was amazingly supportive around the setting up of Ivybridge Environmental Action Group and helping with the many river clean ups we did over the years. I am sure she will be missed by many far and wide.

Although I only knew Carol for a short time I warmed to her from Day 1. We had similar values and beliefs and I felt that she contributed enormously to Ivybridge, particularly through her work as Mayor, when she instigated the building of the Watermark. There can be no finer tribute to her than that as it is the very heart of Ivybridge now with all the different things that go on in that building. A very strong character who worked tirelessly for the Labour Party. I feel privileged to have known her.
