The obituary notice of Derry James BEGLEY

Our family is devastated about the sudden death of Derry. My son's both reacted by saying that he was a great guy. The tributes reinforce that. We were so honoured that Derry travelled to celebrate our family weddings in Canada, one to the grasslands of Saskatchewan and another to Sioux Lookout, which is almost 3,000 km from any ocean. What a contrast from his island homes. Derry was so generous and thoughtful. He paid his dues in this world. Janet, Liz and Claire, know that we love you and are in our thoughts. Your cousins Patricia, Gabe, Tom and families.

Such a funny kind guy. We had some long chats sat on my floor with a bottle of cider between us. RIP Derry.

Although I didn't know Derry well, he would always say hello and made an effort to learn your name. Always had a smile on his face. He will be missed. Rest in Peace
