Wayne AnthonyBELL(" Silver Van Man ") Our hearts are broken to announce that Wayne passed away suddenly but peacefully
on Thursday 14th May 2026 at Scunthorpe General Hospital, aged 59 years.
A devoted and adored husband to Fiona, loving and selfless dad to Alanah and Jonathan,
treasured father-in-law to Josh and Jessica, beloved son to Lillian and Tony, much-loved brother to Daniel and Adrian, as well as a cherished son in-law, brother in-law and proud uncle to all of his family.
Wayne was loved by everyone who knew him. He was deeply dedicated to his van business and found so much joy in helping anyone and everyone. He will be greatly missed within the local community and was a true friend to many.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember Wayne's life will take place
on Friday 12th June 2026 at 12 noon St Paul's Church,
a private committal service at 1:20pm at Woodlands Crematorium,
followed by a continued celebration of Wayne's life at Heslam Park Rugby Club from 1pm.
Family flowers only please, however donations in Wayne's memory are welcome to British Heart Foundation
The family have kindly requested mourners wear Wayne's trademark dress code -
either work boots with laces undone and shorts, a patterned shirt, or add a splash of blue
