MaureenBENASSIThe family of Maureen Benassi would like to thank family, friends and carers for their sympathy, kind messages of support and wonderful memories shared of mum and her kindness to many people during her life. The attendance of so many at Maureen's reception into church and her funeral service the following day at St Joseph's RC Church, Whitburn, was very much appreciated. So too were the thoughts, prayers and cards of those who could not be there. The service conducted by Father Sebastian provided much comfort as did his beautiful eulogy and the music provided by family friend, Laura Quilter and cantor, Louise Sheridan. In addition, we are grateful to the church volunteers for all support with the service and church flowers. Our thanks also to the parish hall volunteers for working so hard in the kitchen to prepare and serve food. We are grateful to Zain and the team at Grieve Funeral Directors for their sensitivity and professionalism at all times. You have all comforted us in the loss of our beloved mum, a truly beautiful soul.
