John AnthonyBENNETTOf Cheddar. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Anthony Bennett who died at Weston General Hospital on Wednesday 18th November. He is survived by his son, Anthony, daughter in law Claire and his grandson Freddy. He will be much missed by his friends and family. A Celebration of his Life will be taking place at Sedgemoor Crematorium on the 11th December. No flowers. Donations in his memory can be sent to Weston Hospicecare, Uphill, Weston-Super-Mare. John, you were a great friend. A real star. When Brioni and I first met you many years ago while we were on the canals, you helped us with your knowledge of computers and the Internet, which enabled us to become the first commercial narrow boat in history to use the Internet from a boat on the inland waterways. We travelled many miles on our boat " Stokie No1" & you on yours " Jake B". Thank you John.
We will miss you.
