DerekBENNETT(Newbiggin by the Sea) Promoted to Glory on the 1st October, aged 90 years. Peacefully in hospital, after a short illness with his family beside him. Beloved and devoted husband of Sylvia (nee Jackson), most loving dad of Eva, Ina, Ann and Lyn, a dearly loved grandad to his nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and a dear father in law of Ken, John and the late David. Friends please meet for funeral service at The Salvation Army Hall, Newbiggin by the Sea on Monday 18th October at 11.45am followed by cremation at Blyth Crematorium at 1.45pm.
