Charles RobertBENNETTIt is with great sadness the family announce that Charlie passed away peacefully on Friday 10th June 2022 after a short illness. He was just 4 days away from his 103rd birthday. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Much loved dad to Elizabeth and Howard and father-in-law to Pete and Alison. Cherished grandad of Carl, Amy and Fay, special great grandad of Charlie and Lottie, adopted grandad of Natalie and Laura. Charlie will also be held fondly in the memory of many. A service celebrating the life of Charlie will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 1st July at 9.45 am. Charlie is resting at Steven Near Funeral Directors 36, Wellowgate, Grimsby, DN32 0RA. Where floral tributes will be received or donations in Charlie's memory for The Blue Cross Animal Hospital may be sent to the funeral directors or placed in the donation box after the funeral service.
