John CampbellBENNETTPeacefully, after a short illness, in the tender care of the staff at Ninewells Hospital on Thursday, 29th February 2024; John Campbell Bennett, aged 88 years of St. Fillan's (originally of Dundee). Loved and loving husband of Linda, devoted father of Gillian, cherished grandfather of Rachael and Will, special uncle John to both families, and good friend to many.

Funeral service, to which all who knew John are welcome, at Dundurn Parish Church, St. Fillan's, on Tuesday, 26th March at 11:00am; interment thereafter at Comrie Cemetery, cortège arriving 12:10pm.

Family flowers only, please.

John was without a doubt one of the best bosses I had during my entire working life, he was kind and considerate, firm and fair, and he helped me find my feet in my early years with Whitbread.
Pauline and I fondly remember his and Linda’s friendship both during the time in Sheffield and after their move to the north west and then to the south.
We send our love and condolences to Linda and the family.
Rest in Peace JCB.
