HenryBENTLEYOn Wednesday, December 2, peacefully in a private nursing home, ‘Fortified By The Rites Of Holy Mother Church’, Harry, aged 74, of Accrington. The dearly loved son of the late Nora and Henry Bentley, twin brother of the late Fred, brother of the late Michael, also a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will be held with Requiem Mass at St Anne’s RC Church, Accrington. Harry will then be laid to rest in the family grave at Accrington Cemetery. Harry was a regular attendee at Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Accrington and also served behind the bar at the social club where he enjoyed the company of others. Harry also enjoyed watching sport, particularly cricket, and had played for Church & Oswaldtwistle Cricket Club in his younger years. His family were well known in Accrington and Harry was a familiar face in the town where he knew many people.
