I first started my teaching career with Mrs Berry at Crosby. She knitted my first daughter a beautiful matinee set. Later her son did training with me in the nursery, and her daughter in law supply work. Sending love to the family. C
Sue Jamieson.

What a lovely person, my teacher at Crosby Infants and then years later - neighbour. Edith drove for a good number of years, then when no longer able, walked to the market and shops on a daily and weekly basis regardless of the weather. Would often refuse a lift when the weather was good. Great stamina, always pleasant, knew her own mind and an interesting conversant. Always kept up to date with local and national issues.
Edith was a remarkable woman who dearly loved, and was very proud of, her family. Edith, you will be missed, but always remembered.

My first teacher at Crosby Infants in 1952, and then had the pleasure to work along side her in 1980's. Lovely lady
