Grandma, people keep telling me I look like you when you were younger, which at first seemed a bit scary but now I realise it’s an honour. You were sad towards the end, but a few weeks ago you smiled at me when I told you about my travels. I like to think that this was you remembering your well spent youth. Rest peacefully Grandma, I’m sure your dancing and laughing where ever you are. Love Laura x

Somnus Puteus Carus Matris

There was a time not too far gone
In which I had everything by far
Life and death have slowly taken them
Leaving in their wake a telling scar

Know though that my memories
Shall all endeavour to be true
And though we be now forever parted
A part of me travels to a special place with you

Sleep well dear Mater - xxx

We all know what a wonderful woman Bessie Carter was, and she will be greatly missed by all. Bessie was the best grandma ever in my eyes! She would always put a smile on my face everytime I went to see her. She was always a pleasure to be around and was the most kind hearted and loving person I knew, not just toward her family but everyone around her. Love you forever Grandma, Cya soon Brett x x

Bessie was a very caring and thoughtful lady who was always laughing and smiling and always put the needs of others before herself. She had a great humour and will be deeply missed. Love you Grandma always, Sarah xxx
