The obituary notice of Audrey BEST (Nee Bell)

I have many happy memories of Audrey. She was a generous, funny, lovely and flamboyant artist. I spent many hours chatting to her whilst eating her famous shortbreads and drinking tea. She was always appreciative of our live music and very encouraging to me. She will be sadly missed. Sincere condolences to all the family.

Thank you for being you Audrey. We will miss you.

I remember as a small and shy child Audrey was the first person outside the family that I actually loved. She was always kind, caring and very funny. You know you're a special person when you make a child feel safe. This continued throughout my life, always there for me, my mum and my daughter. I feel very lucky to have had her in my life.
