JohnBEVANDearly beloved husband of the late Janet Bevan, brother to Mick and Paul and much loved father of Darren, Craig and Wayne, former Navy Seaman, Marine, ROC (Grp 8, 65 Post), Bus Driver and Caretaker (Woodway Park) before retirement, passed away peacefully after a courageous journey with prostate cancer on 28th March 2024 at Coundon Manor Care Home, aged 87 years 11 months and 30 days one day prior to his 88th. Deeply missed by all his friends and family throughout the world, around town, UHCW and the staff and attendees of the 'Tea and talks' at the Coventry Building Society, Binley Road. He lit up any room and his light will shine on as he sets sail once more. Funeral service to celebrate life, (no black, grey, but bright colours), to be held on 29th April at 10am at Canley Crematorium - Charter Chapel, Coventry.
