Philip Ronald 'Ron'BICKNELLBICKNELL Philip Ronald 'Ron' 25th July 1923 - 3rd February 2023 Ron of St Columb Major died peacefully in Treliske Hospital following a short illness aged 99 years (and a half as he would have pointed out!) Beloved husband of Beryl (deceased 1956) and then of Ruth (deceased 2007). Dear dad of David, Colin and Liz, and Sue and Pete. Much loved Grampy to Joanna and James. A Funeral service will be held on Friday 3rd March at 11.30am, St Columba's Church, St Columb Major followed by committal at Penmount (immediate family only please). Family flowers only, but donations if desired, for the R.N.I.B and Butterfly Cornwall Fund ('to enhance end of life care') can be placed in the donation box at the Church; made online at wedlakefuneralhome.co.uk/donations; or may be sent (cheques made payable to R.N.I.B. or Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHST Charitable Fund) c/o Nick Jago and David Michael Funeral Directors, Wedlake Funeral Home, 2 Higher Bugle, St Austell PL26 8PY.
