Thomas 'Dynamite Kid'BILLINGTONKid - real name Thomas Billington - passed away 5th December 2018, on his 60th birthday. UK-based wrestling trainer Marty Jones announced the passing of Billington - who was one half of The British Bulldogs - with the following statement "It's with great sadness I have to inform you all that The "Dynamite Kid" Tom Billington on his birthday has passed away,” Jones wrote. "A true British ambassador for wrestling worldwide RIP 'Kid' condolences to Mark & his family." Billington had been battling with a multitude of health issues for several years after being left consigned to a wheelchair following the end his career. Billington rose to fame in the 1980s alongside his tag-team partner Davey Boy Smith, who was better known as The British Bulldog. The pair won the WWF Tag Team Championship in 1995 at Wrestlemania 2, where they defeated Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine. Billington’s career looked to be over in 1986 when he broke his back in a match against Don Muraco and Bob Orton Jr, the father of Randy Orton. He was told he’d never wrestle again but battled back from his debilitating injury to compete for the WWE in 1988 before joining Stampede Wrestling and All-Japan Pro Wrestling. The Dynamite Kid was a hero and inspiration to many modern day professional wrestlers, and he will be forever fondly remembered.

Although we didn't know Thomas personally, we were saddened to hear the news. Words seem insufficient, but we pray you may find real comfort and peace through pray to our Heavenly Father (Psalm 34:18), also from family and friends. Please accept our sincere condolences at this sad time. ~Nicky and Family
