John MichaelBINNSPeacefully after a short illness, John Michael Binns passed away on 6th July aged 85 years. A dear Husband to the late Patricia, Father to Andrew and Stephen. A much loved Grandad to Daniel and Annabelle, also much loved to so many family and friends. Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Monday 31st July at 12 noon for the service. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of John can be made as you leave the chapel or sent directly to Lindsey Lodge Hospice. All enquires to, Coop Funeralcare, 2 Bottesford Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 3HE, 01724 843150

Many years ago early in our marriage at our new home in Scotter John built us a magnificent York stone fireplace. We both then went on to build a lasting friendship both working together at the Heavy Section Mills and enjoying nights out at the weekends. Warm and lasting memories.

Thank you John for the past 33 years of being in my life as a father figure and nearly 23 years of being Grandad to Tyler. We'll always remember the lovely times we had, meals, Christmases and all the occasions we remembered Mum together. We will love and miss you but take comfort that you are back with Mum.
