John DouglasBIRDIt is with great sadness we announce that on Sunday 9th of July 2023 John Douglas Bird (always affectionately known as Doug) aged 87 passed away peacefully at Old Norse Care Home with his loving wife Pat at his side. Much loved dad to John, Paul, Julie and David, father-in-law to Rosita, Vickie, Crisanta and Martyn. Cherished grandpa to Emma and husband Rob, Daniel and wife Natalie, Matthew and wife Scarlett, great grandpa to James, Chester, Emily and Phoebe. Much loved brother to Margaret (deceased) and Trisha, uncle to Tracy and good friend to many. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 31st July at 9.45am. No flowers please, Doug requested any donations in lieu of floral tributes to be made to St Andrews Hospice.
