George and CeliaBIRDWith heavy hearts we annouce the passing of Husband & Wife, George & Celia Bird.
George passed away peacefully on Friday 1st December 2023, Celia passed away peacefully on Wednesday 6th December 2023 with family by their sides, they were both cared for at Long Eaton View Care Home.

George and Celia's Funeral will be held on
Wednesday 20th December 2023 at
Trent Valley Crematorium at 10:30am.
All welcome to attend and share in memories that you have of them both.

After the Service, everyone is warmly invited to join the family at Trent Lock Golf Club, Lock Lane, Sawley to continue sharing stories and to celebrate the life they shared together.

Donations in Memory of George and Celia will benefit the continued work of Alzheimer's Research UK.

I used to play badminton with Ceilia at sawley Community Centre, back in the day. Lovely lady.
