A service will take place at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Monday the 24th of February 2020 at 12pm. I was very sad to hear that Alan had died, regrettably too late form me to attend for his funeral.

Alan and I first met in the late 1960's in IBM in London, and later he came to work with me in Portsmouth. I did try to trace Alan in 2018 when we had a reunion of IBM people, as many people wanted to get Alan along to relive the great sporting and other times we hall had.

I always enjoyed the time spent with Alan both professionally and as friend, and I know he will be missed.
