JohnBIRKETTof Lincoln, long standing member of the Lincoln Masonic Lodge, passed away peacefully in the Lincoln County Hospital on the 30th April 2022 aged 93 years. A devoted husband to the late Joyce Birkett, loving Father to Judy and Jean and a special Grandad to Ethan and Oscar, he will be sadly missed by his family, the Lincoln Community and the Amateur Radio and Short-Wave Club in Lincoln. Funeral service takes place at Lincoln Crematorium on Monday 30th May 2022 at 1:10pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired in memory of John for Cancer Research UK, may be left as you leave the Crematorium Chapel. Further Enquiries to Pat Cook Funeral Services 01522522881

So sorry to read this Mr Birkett was part of my childhood memories I grew up in Danesgate his shop always fascinated us as children.

RIP Mr. Birkett, I hope you are back with your loving wife Joyce. I have know Mr. Birkett for over 30 years and have found memories of him of the many times I would stay at his house with his daughter Jean. My condolences to all the family.
