FrankBIRTWHISTLEPassed away on 30th August 2022 aged 86. Frank was a former Head of Art Teacher at St Christopher's School, Accrington before becoming Art Advisor for an international company following which he opened his own art shop in Accrington where he worked until his retirement. Frank's love for sports and the outdoors began when he was a Scout. He was awarded his King Scout Honour in 1951. He enjoyed playing football, rock climbing and cycling. He was an active member of the N.L.R.C. (North Lancs Road Club). Frank was also a member of the Accrington Rotary Club for many years. He was the loving and loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Martin, Paul, Alison and David. Dear father-in-law of Alison, Garry and Julia. Cherished grandad and great-grandad of Nick, Andrew, Thomas, Ben, Freddie, Amelie, Archie and Miles. Funeral on Wednesday 14th September 2022, 1:40pm at Accrington Crematorium for Service and Committal. Family flowers only, donations if preferred to Alzheimer's Society.
