StephenBIRTWISTLEMr Stephen Patrick Birtwistle, of Great Harwood, died on Monday, May 30, aged 79. Stephen was a coach driver/bus driver for Stagecoach. He loved collecting miniature cars and trucks. He also loved motorbikes, darts, socialising and having a pint or two, and maritime and fishing. Son of the late Mary and Joseph Birtwistle, he was loving husband to the late Mavis Birtwistle, doting father to Paula and Janine, loving grandad to Kayleigh, Paul, Hayley, Amber, Jessica, and Makayla, father-in-law to Bryan and Pete, loving brother to Colin, lovingly reunited with his late brothers and sisters, leaving behind good friends Terry, Mena, and Lee. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 16, at 3pm at Accrington Crematorium. Donations if desired to ELHT&Me or Guide Dogs for the Blind.
