ElizabethBLACK(''Betty'') Passed away peacefully. Beloved Wife of Eric (Deceased) Loving Sister to Mary who sadly passed away four days before Betty. Loving Aunt to Ada and family.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the morning hush, I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I did not die.

A double funeral service for Elizabeth Black and her Sister Mary Lane will take place on Thursday, 28th December 2023 at Springwood Myrtle Chapel, 1.45pm followed by Internment at 3pm Enquiries C/O Leadbetter & Murphy Funeral Directors, 274a Smithdown Road L15 5AJ 0151-733-3323

Dear Betty and Eric were close friends for many years of my mother Nellie and Bobby Brown. As a small boy we would all take B&B holidays in Wales and spend many happy sunny days on Ainsdale beach together. I’m so very sorry to hear that Betty and Mary have passed on. My mum also passed away 05/01/24. Betty’s passing was actually on my mum’s birthday. Condolences Gary Brown
