RonaldBLACKBURNPassed away peacefully at home aged 84 years. From humble beginnings in Stockton-on-Tees Ronald obtained a scholarship to Durham Cathedral School and became the first person in his family to attend University (Clare College, Cambridge). He then went on to achieve considerable international career success firstly as a Psychologist in the NHS and in later life as an academic at Liverpool University. Ronald leaves behind his children Mark, Andrew, and Helen from his marriage to his beloved wife Celia as well as his grandchildren Drew and Bodhi. The Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday 28th February 2023 at Thornton Crematorium at 3pm. Family flowers only and donations can be made in memory of Ronald to Macmillan Cancer Support.
