Rodger William HamiltonBLACKWOODWe are sad to announce that Rodger Blackwood passed away peacefully on 12th April 2024 at Elderslie Care Home.
He was a much loved father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Known to many in Linwood through his time as secretary of the social club, he will be missed by all.
'Rodger the Dodger' was loved for his warmth, humour and mischievous spirit. A great singer, dancer and all-round entertainer, we hope that wherever he goes next, he'll continue to be the first on the dance floor.
Rodger's funeral will take place at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley at 1pm on Wednesday 8th May 2024. All are welcome.
The family also invite you to join them for a funeral tea at Mossedge Village, 145 Brediland Road, Linwood, PA3 3RX immediately after the funeral.
Family flowers only. Donations are welcomed to St Vincent's Hospice (stvincentshospice.org).
