Janice MaryBLAKE(nee Williams) Peacefully on Sept 9 at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Jan of Llysworney, Cowbridge; dearly loved wife of Tony and mother to Emma and Alison, mother-in-law to Nathan and Stephen, loving Granny to Kate, Sophie, Eva and Archie, a dear sister to Alan. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Friday Sept 18, service and interment at Cardiff & Vale Natural Burial Meadow, Coedarhydyglyn Park, St Nicholas, Cardiff, CF5 6SG at 11am. Mourners are advised to wear stout footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, c/o Mel & Ron Watkins Funeral Services, Graigwen, 12 Pentwyn Rd, Pencoed, Bridgend, CF35 6SB. Tel. 01656 860545.

Janice was a dear and cherished friend of mine before we both met our partners, married and went our separate ways.
Although we only knew each other for a relatively short time, those happy memories have lived with me ever since so was deeply shocked to read the shocking news long after her passing and I would love the family to get in touch if they feel up to a sharing of memories. Kind regards

Sadly only just discovered that Janice is no longer with us.
Janice and I were good friends for a relatively short time just prior to us both meeting and subsequently marrying our respective partners.
It was a very happy, fulfilling and memorable period in my life which I will never forget. She was a very special and gifted friend.
How sad that I found it difficult to stay in touch with such a wonderful person.
