Robert EdwardBLAKEPeacefully on 29th March 2024, in the wonderful care of St Andrew's Hospice, Bob, aged 80 years, sadly passed away.

Beloved husband of Fina, loving father to Naomi, Sam and the late Hannah, dearest grandfather, great grandfather, brother and good friend to many.

A celebration of Bob's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday, 24th April, 2024, at 11.15am.

No flowers please by request. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made payable to "St Andrew's Hospice" or "Harbour Place Day Centre" and sent to Mashfords Funeral Home, Norfolk Lane, Cleethorpes, DN35 8BB.

A collection box will also be provided at the service.

Bob will always be remembered not just as a highly respected colleague but as a friend with whom I spent many happy times playing sport, music and ‘acting’.
My most vivid memory from the workplace was when I asked him to record some meeting minutes. I was particularly impressed by the quantity of notes he was taking and still have what turned out to be cartoon caricatures of the people in the meeting complete with quotations from them!
A unique man who did much to brighten my life and the lives of others. I only wish we could have spent more time together.
