SylviaBLAKEY (NEE JAMES)Passed away on 21st December 2021, aged 74 years, after bravely battling chronic illnesses for many years. Beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy), much loved Mam of Michael, Christine, Karen, Denise and son-in-law Lee, dearly loved Nana of Sean and granddaughter-in-law Lisa, Kristy, Michael, Callum, Daniel and Great Nan of Rhys, Emily, Finn and James. Sylvia will also be sadly missed by her siblings Sheila, Carol and brother-in-law Neil, Christine and brother-in-law Trevor, Richard and sister-in-law Karen, also brothers-in-law Tom and James. Sylvia was a loving Aunt and a dear friend to many. Service to take place at West Road Crematorium, Tuesday 18th January at 3.00pm. No flowers by request. Donations in memory of Sylvia for Marie Curie would be appreciated and can be made at the service. The family would like to thank Marie Curie, especially, Sarah, Pauline, Julie, and Patrick, for their help and support over the years.

I was sad to hear that Sylvia had passed away.
It was a pleasure to look after her, she always brought a smile to my face and was very enthusiastic about getting into the gym at Marie Curie. My deepest sympathies at the loss of such a lovely, gracious lady.
