CliveBLANCHARDpassed away peacefully on 12th October 2022, aged 68 years. Loving Husband of the late Helen, much loved Dad to Gary and Alex, Father-in-law to Lorna and Lauren and Grandad to Ivy, Fern, Theo, Willow, Autumn and Mia. Funeral Service at Chelmsford Crematorium on Wednesday 2nd November at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Farleigh Hospice may be sent to T Pennack & Sons, Funeral Directors.

Clive. I initially got to know you you via our Twitter chats and through a shared concern over an ever pressurised & inadequately funded NHS. We had a passion in supporting it in whichever way we could. Fast forward a couple of years and we’d gradually got to know each rather well. I used to so enjoy receiving your meticulously composed emails and would promptly put the kettle on before sitting down to read them in a quiet corner with cup of tea in hand. I admired and respected you for the obvious love and pride you had in your family, for the many illnesses you bore with quiet strength, for the kindness and support you offered me during difficult times, not least when I was critically ill with Covid.

My life is truly the better for having known you, Clive. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Sincere condolences to all Clive’s family & friends .
