John ArthurBLANDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John, aged 82, who slipped away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Wonderful husband to Julie, beloved Father to Jen, Geoff and Cath, Father in law to Mike and Helen. Dearest Grandad to Thomas and William. Much loved by all his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Funeral service to take place at Weston Mill on 9th September 2022 at 14:45pm. Immediate family flowers only please. Any donations will be gratefully received for St Luke's Hospice and Marie Curie nurses. John Bland, my father, was an inspirational, loving family man and will be deeply missed by all that were privileged to know him. In his final days the care and support given by the St.Lukes team and the Marie Curie nurses enabled my dad to be at home surrounded by loved ones rather than stuck alone in hospital - something we will always be extremely grateful for.
