With all my respect - rest in peace dear George. I feel fortunate to have known you and have always enjoyed the visits and day trips during my time with Les in Hull. So have Ziggy and Selma. You have been an inspirational character and will be greatly missed by so many.

So very sorry to hear this. I have such great memories of Mr Bleasby; my Sunday school teacher, family friend, my first boss and mentor. A gentle man who had a big impact on my life and many other young peoples' I'm sure. Keep playing that music Mr Bleasby x

GH - as we always called George - was a true legend. A kind, considerate, and often very funny man - some of his jokes really cracked me up! - he was also a truly trustworthy person, which, sadly, is all too rare nowadays. While he was deeply religious, he never tried to force his views on others. He loved his music - but above all his family, all of whom returned that love. Rest in peace, GH - you will be sorely missed by far more people than you would ever have realised. Les, Becky and Susanna
