Peter EdwardBLENDELLTragically as a result of an accident, Pete (The Legend) aged 94 years very sadly died on Saturday the 25th of July 2026 in Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in the presence of his beloved wife Janette and his children.
Pete was the treasured husband and best friend of Janette, loving father of Peter, Karen and Steven, respected father in Law of Sue, Geoff and Kay. He was a very special grandad to Faye, Sophie, Felicity, Amy and Jack and he was also a very special 'Grandad' to Meadow. He was a beloved Great Grandad to AJ, Ruby, Henry and William. Pete was a very well known country character in so many areas of life, fishing, shooting, hunting/riding and in support of the countryside. He was a very good friend to many and will be missed so much by his family and by many people who were lucky to have known him.
A service to celebrate Pete's life will be held at the Grimsby Crematorium, on Tuesday the 25th of August at 1.30pm.
Family flowers only please but donations will be welcomed on behalf of Humber Rescue and the Local Hospital League of Friends, a donation box will be available after the service in the garden of remembrance. Please consider wearing 'country' style clothes to help us celebrate Pete's life.
