WilliamBLITCHFORDD-Day veteran. 101 years and 6 months. Sadly but peacefully Leslie passed away on 14th August 22. Devoted husband to Winnie for 74 years (sadly deceased). Proud father of Patricia and Anthony, loving grandad of Brandon and Dee also the late Joanna, his darling angel. Adored Pappy of great grandchildren Darcey, Zac and Grayson. He leaves a void in our hearts we will never fill. Leslie was an all round sportsman with rugby being his first love. He was a medic for over 20 years for Redruth and Cornwall rugby clubs to which he was devoted and enjoyed tremendously. Donations in memory of Leslie to Redruth Rubgy Club, c/o 2 Wheal Uny, Trewirgie Hill. Redruth TR15 2TD. All Leslie's wishes have been respected. Leslie will be truly missed.
