RIP my friend, so sad to hear this news. Many happy memories of times spent stewarding at St James Park or travelling to away games in Europe. Truly a one off. Kev Hayes

Peter fondly remembered in Bermuda

I write on behalf of the Bermuda Ex-Police Officers Association to express our great sadness at just hearing about the death of our good friend and former colleague, Peter, who worked here in the Bermuda Police from 1970-1977. One of his old mates summed it up best, "If ever there was a person who danced to the beat of a different drum ....." Peter was a great character who will always be remembered by all those who knew him. Our sincere condolences to his brother Ian.
