SylviaBLONDELLPassed away peacefully at home with her family on 25th December 2021. Aged 84. (Retired proprietor of North Bar Reproductions, Beverley). Beloved wife of the late Alan. Much loved mother of Nicky and son in law Nick. Adored nanna of Will and Henry. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Beverley on Wednesday 26th January at 11am followed by private interment. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Macmillan Nurses.

So saddened to learn of Sylvia's passing. We first met Sylvia (and Alan) 59 1/2 years ago where we shared a building - divided into two flats - on Hull Road in Hessle. We were two very young married couples and enjoyed each other's friendship so much. In 1964 we emigrated to Canada and later to the United States of America, but our friendship continued until the present time. Sylvia wrote lovely 6-page handwritten letters every Christmas which always included a funny anecdote of our days in Hessle. Nicky and family rest in peace knowing what wonderful parents you had. For us another chapter closed but we will always remember Alan and Sylvia fondly.
