Derek AlanBLOORPeacefully at rest on Saturday 27th September 2025 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness fought with courage and dignity, Derek aged 81 years.

The loving husband of Ann for 60 devoted years, precious dad of Amanda and Andrew, father-in-law of Colin and Kath, treasured grandad of Tom and Rachel and husband Harry. Derek will always be loved and sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

A celebration of Derek's life will take place on Friday 24th October 2025 at Bradwell Crematorium at 10.00am. Would friends wishing to attend please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired would be gratefully accepted to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and the UHNM Charity for the Cancer Centre. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.
