Elizabeth AnnBOLTONOf Burnley Road, Hapton passed away on December 4, aged 81 years. Ann was an administrator at Thwaites in Blackburn, then in her twenties went to catering college in Accrington and became manageress for The Directors’ Dining Room at Platts, later working at Huncoat School and Asda. Ann attended All Saints Church when young and Whalley Road URC in later years. She enjoyed going to restaurants locally and in Manchester, appreciating Chinese, Nepalese and Indian cuisine in particular. After retirement she took part in pub quizzes. In 1972 she married John Bolton, a teacher who passed away in 1998.
She leaves sons Paul and Mark, daughter-in-law Joanne and granddaughter Jasmine.
A service will be held on Wednesday, December 20 at 10.20am at Accrington Crematorium chapel followed by burial in Accrington Cemetery at 11am.
