CyrilBOOCOCKFormerly of Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall, passed away at home on July 1, aged 91 years. Cyril worked on the railway as a signal man at Townsendfold and worked at Hardman Hill in textiles. Prior to retirement he worked at Duralay in Haslingden. Cyril loved bowling - crown green - football, local history, crosswords and quizzes and enjoyed going out for family meals. Cyril was a member of Gaghills Bowling Club and Olive Lane Bowling Club. Husband of the late Lena, Cyril leaves behind his daughter Clare, son-in-law Robert, grandson Adam, granddaughter Rachel and great-granddaughter Lily. A service will be held on Tuesday, July 23 at St James the Less RC Church, Rawtenstall at 11am, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery. Flowers are desired.
