Albert Morgan ReesBOWENBert Peacefully on Tuesday, 11th December 2018, in the tender care of the staff at Park View Care Home, Neath, Bert, formerly of Morfa Glas, Glynneath. Beloved husband of the late Mair, devoted father of Linda, Lorna and Clive and a dearly loved father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. Bert will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral on Friday, 21st December. Service at Llwydcoed Crematorium at 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired to The Alzheimer's Society c/o Alun H. Lewis Independent Funeral Directors, Pentwyn, Pontneddfechan, Glynneath, SA11 5UE. Tel. (01639) 720245.

Bertie, as we knew him, was a retired intercity 125 train driver, and a regular member of the Great Western Railway retired member’s club, of which I was chairman at the time, meeting every Wednesday afternoon at Neath. He was a very popular member of that club, and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Bertie.
