I am sad to hear of the death of Bryan Bowers. I offer my condolences to his family and friends. I saw him one year in the 1970's at Cambridge Folk Festival in England. His performance was received with mighty approbation from the audience, which clapped along and sang fervently with every one of his songs. I particularly remember his rendition of My Bonnie, which brought the house down. Well, it was a marquee actually. I remember him with fondness. We'll not see his like again. Sincerely, Mark Lisicki
