Will always remember hearing Seamie's voice over the phone in Mayo or further afield. He was aways ready with a joke or a quick witted response to something and always up for a bit of craic. Usually followed by some well wishes and a kind word and a promise to catch up when he saw me/us in Cov. Visits to Caludon Road won't be same without seeing him pop in for a chat. Thinking of all who knew and loved Seamie this weekend and beyond. May his gentle soul rest in peace. 🇮🇪☘️❤️

Sincere sympathy to Seamie's sisters nd in laws nieces and nephews on the death of Seamie, fond memories of chatting with him in number 65. The last conversation I had with him a few months ago he told me he missed his brother Martin so much, hopefully he is now reunited with all his loved ones gone before him. May his gentle soul rest in peace 🙏

Deepest sympathy to Seamies sisters Marie & Rose and to all his nephews neices and extended family .
It was always a pleasure to met him on our many visits to Caludon Rd . He had great interest in sport and the GAA. And was always up to date especially with the persuits of Mayo and Monaghan and loved the jokes about Mayo winning Sam.
He will be sadly missed

Uncle Shay, a special Uncle to me and somebody who I had the pleasure of seeing every day growing up and beyond. I’ll always remember our chats over a ‘cuppa tay’, Christmas day at Mum and Dads house every year, you always giving us riddles to solve and in my teenage years, telling me to be careful and not to stay out too late when I was going out which just proves what a protective, kind and loving person you were. You were great with Tommy and Ronan and was very happy that I married an Evertonian 😊 We miss you so much and have no doubts that you are up there with your loved ones keeping your eye on us. Rest in peace. Love you 💚
