RIP Uncle Ken.
He fired my imagination with his love of aeroplanes and mechanical wonders. He was smart and inquisitive and as Sage as Yoda! He helped me when I needed him and never wanted any reward ! Now he can be with his friends and family in Heaven

I'll be missing you Ken. Mind You I've spent the last 2 years looking after you pretty much every day apart from a couple of short breaks. I have lots of good memories from when I was really young, looking over your shoulder most of the time as you were more often than not fixing something usually Cars or Bikes which is probably where I got my love of Bikes and Cars from. I remember you used to have a wash and shave in the back Kitchen at Langtoft Grove. You always put one of the gas rings on the primitive cooker to keep warm - those houses were cold -- way before central heating !! I still do that today in the morning...put the gas ring on. You liked to remind me of the time you took me to the Railway Museum In York as you remembered us walking along the tops of the castle wall and our feet burning through our shoes so it must have been a really hot summer! I hoped we could have got to the the Isle of Man together to watch Proper Motorcycle racing ... definitely next year though and I'll know you'll be there with me when I finally get to go. I'll see you again Uncle Ken you'll be on the little 2 stroke Ariel or BSA and I'll be on the Fireblade.

I'll miss you Ken
