I met Irene when I started doing her gardening for her, and she was always joking about life in general, but when it came to her beloved gardens she always knew exactly what she wanted. I also helped out with jobs around the house and even chauffeured her to and from her caravan at Chapel St Leonards. She was such a character and she will be greatly missed.
