A good man, forgiving, sensitive, caring and supportive. My total respect and sincere, heartfelt gratitude for all your sacrifices. "I pray you'll be our eyes, watch us where we go and help us to be wise in times when we don't know." Sleep peacefully now Dad.) - With all my love, Netty x and Chris x. (You will never be forgotten, Grand, you'll always be in our hearts.) - Love Sean and Helen xx. (Our beautiful, precious Dad, if we could have a lifetime wish, a dream that would come true, we'd pray to God with all our heart, for yesterday and you. A thousand words can't bring you back, we know because we've tried, neither will a thousand tears, we know because we've cried. You left behind our broken hearts and happy memories too, but we never wanted memories, we only wanted you. Love and miss you always, forever in our hearts.) - Your Daughter, Colette and Son-in-Law Martin xx. (Goodnight Granddad Ernie, sleep tight. We will look after the Quinn for you. Missing you loads.) - Heartbroken Grandchildren Joshie and Megie xx. (My wonderful dad, why you? Why did He have to take you? It just doesn't make sense. I am devastated beyond words. You fought with such courage and dignity, you didn't deserve what you went through. No more training the dogs or going shooting, no more special day at the Grand National, no more phone calls every time Liverpool scored. I just can't believe it. No more nothing. Sleep peacefully Dad in your dreams, and give our Anthony the biggest hug and love from me.) - Your heartbroken Daughter Helen and Son-in-law Dave xx. (Dear Lord up above, give Granddad Ernie all our love. Hug him and kiss him, tell him that we miss him and that we will always be thinking of him. Goodnight Granddad. Love always.) - Michele, Dominic and Luke xxx. (I only knew you for a short time, but in that time you made a massive impression on me and my life. R.I.P Ernie.) - Love Karl x. (We will miss you lots. Love to you always.) - Grandsons Aiden and Alex xx. (Memories are a special thing, they last from day to day, they can't get lost, they don't wear out and they can't be taken away. Sleep in peace now Ernie. Love always.) - Sheila xxx.
