CharlesBRAHAMCharles James Braham, formerly of Llanelli and more recently of Aberporth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 16 January 2024.

Aged 92 years, Charles, beloved husband to the late Maureen, cherished father and father-in-law to Alison, the late Mark and the late David, proud Grandad of James and Susan, Claire-Louise and Paul, Andrew and Hatti, much-loved great-grandfather to Theo, Eli, Martha, Charlotte, Grace and Olivia, dearest brother and brother-in-law to the late Violet, the late Raymond and the late Joan, and fond uncle of Nicola and Stephen.

Charles was a dedicated journalist who founded Swansea Sound radio station and was a former owner of the Tivyside Advertiser and Llanelli Star newspapers.

A public funeral service will take place at 12pm on Friday, 9 February at Llanelli Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, but should you wish, a donation to 'The Journalists' Charity and Re-engage' would be appreciated c/o
