The obituary notice of Christopher BRAIN

Cardiff (Caerdydd) | Published in: South Wales Evening Post.

ChristopherBRAINIt is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our Honorary Vice Presidents; Christopher Brain. Chris enjoyed a hugely successful career with his family's brewing business and served as Chair of Brain's Brewery from 1989 until 2009. During this time, Chris oversaw the move in 1999 from the company's traditional site in Cardiff, off St. Mary Street, to the southern side of the Cardiff Central railway station and the site of the former Hancock's brewery, thereby allowing the redevelopment of The Old Brewery into the hugely popular Brewery Quarter, full of restaurants and bars, right in the heart of the Welsh capital. We'd like to send our deepest condolences to Christopher's family and friends at this time.

The funeral will take place on 18th April at 11:30 at The Holy Family Church, Carter Place, Fairwater, Cardiff, CF5 3NP.

They have also asked that you do not send flowers, but if you would like to make a donation in lieu of this then their chosen charity is Marie Curie Hospice, they have also requested that if you are able to attend the funeral then please don't hesitate to wear a dash of colour, bright ties or black tie if you would prefer.
