Edna MayBRAITHWAITESuddenly on 7th September 2026 in Scunthorpe General Hospital, Edna aged 80 years.

The beloved wife of the late Ted, loving mum of Paul, Diane, Jeanette, Maryanne, Mark, Andrew and David and mother-in-law of Nick, Sarah and Sue, a cherished nanna, great-nanna, sister, aunt and a good friend to many.

A service to celebrate Edna's life will be held in St. Aidan's Church, Cleethorpes on Monday 26th October 2026 at 11.00am followed by interment in Scartho Road Cemetery.

No flowers please by request, donations in lieu to benefit 'Macmillan Cancer Support' may be given at the service or sent to: -

Broken by the sudden loss of our beautiful mum. While we do not understand why she was taken from us so suddenly and cruelly we are grateful for every moment we had with her.
Ted will love and look after you as others should have done
