I was really shocked when I heard that Richard had passed away. We first met when we both worked together for several years at the Grimsby College. He was a real character & he always had a great sense of humour, always telling jokes & funny stories & making us laugh. As other people have said, he was one of life's good guys who has left us too soon & he will be sadly missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He has been a wonderful friend and neighbour for over 25 years. Richard was a legend in East End Close, chatting and putting the world to rights with all who walked past. He was always on hand if you needed any help - with a garage full of everything you would ever need! He loved to fix things and was always willing to help and provide advice. Richard will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with Sue and family at this difficult time. Rest in peace Richard, love from Phil and Marianne xx
